David brought home an Amaryllis bulb. So we planted it per the instructions.It grew and grew and now we have this. Conner loves being held sitting up so the other day I tried to see if he could sit up on his own. Not there quite yet but he did well for his first try. He is also a drool bucket of you can't tell by the wet spots on his clothes.

my family (the Cerveny's) learned that the birth of a baby isn't always a joyous occasion.Andrew David Cerveny was stillborn weighing in at 10lbs 5oz and 22inches long.  The days surrounding his death and birth are some of the most vivid memories that I have. So let us raise our glasses in the memory of what would have been his 16th birthday.Happy Birthday Andrew!

These were a party favor at "Pug's" 1st Birthday party.  Sydney took the lenses out of the kaleidoscopes and put them in the frames.Neat idea.Becca refused to have them anywhere near her face.So this is just her silly face.

Today Sydney was home from school due to upset stomach. So to pass the day away we decided to try a game of Scrabble.Took a bit for her to get the hang of it but it didn't turn out too bad.And no I didn't keep score. Next game she wants to keep score so that she knows who won.Here is a picture of her first scrabble game.

Penelope  went on her first ever field trip this past week.David was able to go with her. For the first time in awhile the weather wasn't so hot that you fry. So we decided to take one last trip to the park before the Baby comes.First we enjoyed some 50 cent ice cream cones at McDonalds.  Becca ate almost the whole thing(with me helping) which surprised us.Then we headed to the park to enjoy the sunshine and low humidity.  Enjoying the see-saw  Mary Enjoying the Merry-go-round Maybe

Yesterday was Rebecca's 2nd birthday. Today Penelope "graduated" from Pre-K.  The had a cute little ceremony with caps and gowns.  It was too cute.   Pene with Mrs. Sandy and Mrs. Patterson.At one point this year Pene told me that Mrs. Patterson is the best teacher ever!

Pene's class has been learning about the 5 senses this week.  The other day she came home with this, I guess you would call it a mask.It says " I hear my cat meowing".All of the girls enjoyed put it "on". Even Mary's charge Baby "L" did to, her picture was too cute.

Well another Christmas has come and gone and we forgot again to really take any pictures.We had a white Christmas this year. It snowed for pretty much 3 day straight. But we got an inch at most and it is melting.  Again forgot to take pictures.  Maybe next year.The girls seemed to enjoy their christmas this year.  They got what they asked for so I think that helped.Pene had been quite a handful

Becca sat on Santa's lap without a fuss.  The older girls weren't with us so they didn't get to, maybe we will be able to catch Santa another time for them to sit on his lap.

 Well Pene had her first program at school.  She calls it her play. It was her class dressed up like Native Americans singing Thanksgiving  songs.  The "play" didn't even last 10 minutes,  Pene did well.  Mom and Dad were able to come and see her.  And I think she liked that.Unfortunately this thing won't let me upload the video.  Maybe I will put it on Facebook.  Here are some other pictures.

We had visitors in the backyard again (technically they were in the neighbors yard but just barely). We had 8 wild turkeys and a groundhog.This is the turkey that wasn't allowed to be near the other turkeys. One of the other turkeys kept chasing him off. Today is the girls first full day of school.Sydney in 1st Grade.And Pene in Pre-K.The girls were excited, got up ate breakfast, packed lunches all that good stuff.Then we wait for the time to go to the bus stop.David takes the girls to wait for Sydney's bus. (Pene goes on a different bus at a later time)And they wait and wait and wait.......NO BUS!!!Ugh this is very annoying as we were told

They weren't interested in doing a decent picture because Sydney was complaining that her backpack was too heavy.Also I did not pick out their clothes they decided on their own to dress alike.I will take better picture on their "real" first day of school.
