16 years ago today..

my family (the Cerveny's) learned that the birth of a baby isn't always a joyous occasion.

Andrew David Cerveny 

was stillborn 

weighing in at 10lbs 5oz and 22inches long.

  The days surrounding his death and birth are some of the most vivid memories that I have.

So let us raise our glasses in the memory of what would have been his 16th birthday.

Silly Glasses

These were a party favor at "Pug's" 1st Birthday party.

 Sydney took the lenses out of the kaleidoscopes and put them in the frames.

Neat idea.

Becca refused to have them anywhere near her face.

So far we have 3 blue eyed kidos and 1 hazel eyed kid.

Will Conner's be brown or hazel?

Only time will tell.

Conner's curly mop of hair

This is what Conner's hair is like after a bath.

Mostly on days when it is wet outside.

I couldn't get him to make this video more interesting but you can see his curly hair.

Sydney's First Scrabble Game

Today Sydney was home from school due to upset stomach. 

So to pass the day away we decided to try a game of Scrabble.

Took a bit for her to get the hang of it but it didn't turn out too bad.

And no I didn't keep score.

 Next game she wants to keep score so that she knows who won.

This past Thursday Sydney had her 2nd Grade PTO program.

Friday was Report Card day!

They both got all A's.

Package from Grandma

Monday I got a package from my Grandma! 

It had Conner's quilt in it, Love It! 

And some cute buttons and fabrics.

Penelope's First Field Trip

Penelope  went on her first ever field trip this past week.

David was able to go with her.
