Unexpected visitors

Saturday morning was by greeted some unexpected visitors.

Nick and Ben decided to drop in for a bit.

It was good to see them.

They played Wii with the girls and hung out and Nick even did some Hula Hooping.

 be a tad upset that Nick is holding Conner and not her,

Conner's first haircut

Yesterday I gave Conner his first haircut. 

Believe me I love his curls and was sad to cut them off.

But his hair was getting so long that they weren't staying very well 

and most days he had a crazy mess of hair on his head.

It is not a perfect haircut but I think I did pretty well doing it by myself on a 7 month old.

 Now he looks different, more like a little boy.

Also his hair seems like it is a lighter color than before.

This year we decided to do a container garden.

Wet April Fun

It has been really warm lately and Penelope has been

 bugging me to let them get in their swimsuits and get sprayed with the hose.

Well Monday after school we did just that. 

Becca didn't really want to do it.

They decided it wasn't as warm as they thought after they were sprayed with the cold water.
