Look what we caught!

That's right! It's a Becca in a basket!
The other day we looked over and that is what we saw.
We have no idea how she got in there.

Happy Birthday Sydney!

Yesterday was Sydney's 6th birthday. She was so excited. I think she probably told everyone at school yesterday that it was her birthday. For her birthday she got to have lunch with David, then she gave out mini cupcakes to her class as a snack then came home and had dinner, presents and cake with Granny and Granddad. I think she had fun. So here are some pictures of the fun.

First "snow" of 2010

Tuesday Sydney came home from school and was telling us that Spencer (a 5th grader that helps walk her to her bus) t0ld her that to make it snow you need to "flush 6 ice cubes down the commode, turn your Pj's inside out, put them on backwards and put a spoon under your pillow". So last night Sydney wore her Pj's inside out and backwards with both of the girls with spoons under their pillows. This after flushing some ice. Pene wouldn't wear her Pj's that way, which was fine by me. Here is Syd in her inside out backwards Pj's.

Lucky for us they woke up to this today.
Unlucky for us they believe that what they did worked.

We are happy for the snow but are sad that it isn't even half of what they were forecasting.

The end of 2009

As the year comes to an end I am a little remiss as I forgot to take pictures of Becca's first Christmas. Totally bummed. Oh well on to other things.
The girls and I went to Mississippi on Christmas evening to visit my folks. The girls had great fun and loved visiting with the Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents and Cousins. I think Abby had fun painting the girls nails too.

Becca and T's youngest C , she was born a week before Becca. They just wanted to pull on each other and the next day Becca was taking her pacifier.

We couldn't get a good picture of the two of the together.

Poor little J wasn't feeling well so I told her to make a Grandpa face.
She was so sad.

The 2004 cousins Charlie, K and Sydney. Charlie didn't have his eyes open in any of the pictures I have and K is only taller than everyone else because she was standing on her tip toes.

The July 2006 Cousins. Pene, W and Andy. Do you know how hard it is to get a good picture of 3 three year olds? It's pretty tough.
Also Pene has a chapped face from wiping her nose with her sleeve.

Dad's stylin new foot wear! He has either a foot sprain or a stress fracture.
Not sure which just yet.

Yesterday I decide to see if I could put Becca's hair up in a twiggy and this is what I got.


Cute isn't she? And when her hair is up you can see what color her hair really is. It's almost white.
