Hail, a trip to the park and other fun stuff...

Well today we have had some yucky weather. Tornado warnings, heavy rain and lot of pea size hail. Here is some video and a picture of the hail.

Last night Sydney was laying on the floor covered from head to toe with blankets. So David decides it would be fun for us all to go up stairs and see how long it takes Sydney to figure out that we weren't down stairs anymore. After about 10 minutes she figured out that we were gone and came to find us. David had a good laugh out of that prank.

Monday we went down to the In-laws, because David's niece Holly and nephew Adam, were in town. The kids had fun.
And Jose (exchange student staying with the in-laws) made us a yummy lunch.

I ran across this very cute felt sack lunch ,on the blog Skip to My Lou and thought that it would be cool to make it. So here is my attempt, not perfect but still cute. I really like the doughnuts.

In the Sky!

The other day we took the girls kite flying. It was fun. I think Pene had more fun than Syd did. Pene is very good at flying a kite, the only problem was one time she let go of the string. Luckily David was able to catch it.

Pene has also started sing lately. The song she sings the loudest and most clearly is "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". She also sings Wiggle's songs.

A little bit of sewing.

I've been doing a little bit of sewing today. I made the girls each a dress. They love them. Now I need to make some more for Syd, so that we don't have a fight everyday about getting dressed.

Also we have been thinking for awhile about making our own reusable shopping bags (we have a ton of those stupid plastic bags). The other day at Walmart some of the cashiers were talking about how they are going to be doing away with the plastic bags at Walmart (April or August i can't remember). So now we are trying out some patterns for bags to find the one that we like. So far the 2 that I have tried I think are alittle too big. But here they are anyway.

Girl!
That's right baby girl #4 will be here this summer.

What a nice day!

Well the weather has been pretty nice the last few days, nice change from freezing and below.
Today the girls and I decided since it was nice to get out of the house and walk to the Dollar Tree (the girls favorite place to go).
We found a cute little fish tank that has fish that grow, so we thought we would try it out. We will be taking pictures of it to post so that everyone can see them grow. They have only grown alittle bit. Here is a picture from after we just put the water in.

Then we took the girls bike riding to the mailbox and around on some of the sidewalks. They had alot of fun. Pene is a speed demon if you give her the chance.
